How did Dogs for Veterans get started?

Dogs for Veterans (a division of Many Paths Animal Rescue Inc.) was founded by Terry Griffith, his passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing service dogs to people who deserve them most, America’s veterans. Terry is a "dog expert" having trained dogs since he was young and has an educational focus on animal behavior, canine logic and canine body language. Terry’s commitment to America’s veterans originates with his father, a World War II wounded veteran and the struggles his father endured from his combat related injuries.
